Hours: 36.5 hours total. Monday in college 9am – 5pm, Tuesday 9.30am – 5pm, Wednesday and Thursday 10.30am – 3.30pm, Saturday 9am – 5pm and Sunday 9.30am – 12.30pm.
Requirements: Applicants should ideally have some knowledge of food and cooking, be a good team player and be willing to learn. Applicants will undergo initial screening for Maths and English to show they are working at level 1 or GCSE or above.

Description: Working in a popular local café, the role will involve ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen and dining rooms, carrying out general duties such as setting up, cleaning tables, washing up, serving meals drinks etc, putting away deliveries promptly and ensuring stock room, fridges and freezers are kept clean and accessible, being involved in weekly menu changes and weekly specials, assisting the head chef with the preparation for the day, preparing basic dishes and ingredients under the supervision of the head chef, measuring dish ingredients, preparing sauces, gravy, pie fillings, preparing salads, sandwiches, starters and desserts as needed and other related duties.
